At our online shop you can order Yamahas' Clavinova and AvantGrand piano lines with confidence through our secure server. Orders will be processed immediately, and if in stock will ship within 48 hours.

Store Appointments: We are open 7 days a week to meet you in person at our retail location in Frederick, Maryland. Because we take the health and safety of our team and customers seriously, we do require hand washing, and masks worn if you are experiencing any Covid symptoms.
Institutional, Educational & Nonprofit Orders:
If you represent a nonprofit organization that qualifies for sales-tax exemption, please call for assistance with your order. We are happy to speak with you and discuss your needs, do inventory evaluation, provide proposals and bids, guide you through the fundraising program, proper instrument selection, placement, recurring technical service and secure financing, . We accept approved Purchase Orders from institutional, educational and nonprofit accounts. All purchase orders are subject to verification and credit approval. In addition to Yamaha pianos, we can also provide covers, piano dollies, keyboard lab equipment & design, and all that is required to complete your programs needs.
Accepted Payment Methods:
At Downtown Piano Works we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards, as well as check, cash and financing in store. Online purchases accepted payments are Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Maestro, Diners Club, Union Pay and JCB. Click the button below to get pre-approved for financing. If approved, we will call you to discuss your finance offer. The process to finalize financing can all be done by phone and email. You can also pay by money order. We accept cash at our Frederick, MD showroom (do NOT send cash through the mail).
We do not charge you in advance for orders that are not in stock and ready to ship. If you are ordering a special finish, you will receive a phone call from Downtown Piano Works regarding availability, expected delivery time frame, and financial processing. In the event that your order must be split (i.e., one item is in stock and one is backordered) we only charge for the part that is shipped. Once the balance of your order is ready to ship we will apply charges for that.
